Decorated Shop Window Competition

    Celebrate Ilminster Carnival 2026 with us by taking part in our Decorated Shop Window Competition.
    ​The decorated window competition will take place between Saturday 26th September & Saturday 3rd October 2026.

    ​It would be great if as many local shops/businesses as possible could take part to celebrate this years Ilminster Carnival. We look forward to seeing your imaginative designs brighten up the shop windows of the town.

    ​We ask that your displays are ready on Friday 25th September for when the competition starts on Saturday, when judging will also begin. This year the public will be voting for their favourite window displays via our website. Results will be announced on Saturday 3rd October in the Market Square along with the Grand Procession results.
    The closing date for entries is Wednesday 23rd September 2026
